𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 2023 - 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐌 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬!

🔸 What progress has been made this year?

🔸 How is the AM technology progressing in the manufacturing industry?

🔸 Are there new applications that show a functional benefit, which can make the difference?

In 2014, I was looking for big printers with as many lasers as possible, so that machines and process opportunities have been my main focus.

Today, I am looking for AM applications that show the real advantage of the manufacturing technology, regardless of the used material, the modified manufacturing process, and the selected software. Only the quality of the parts is in focus and of interest, because that is what customers are looking for!

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐌 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 🚀:

👉 That we now have to use the toolbox of different software and hardware tools with a strong focus to customer products and deliver a cost-effective solution.

👉 It is time to think about - which software tools can be used as a differentiator and - which machine hardware is capable of producing the required quality at high machine utilization.
